I study the design of information mechanisms and economics of digitization, drawing theory-driven insights from large-scale datasets through industry collaborations. My most recent research focuses on designing trust systems for platforms, the economics of blockchain technology, and the economic impact of artificial intelligence.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Area at Washington University in St. Louis, a research affiliate at CESifo, a digital fellow at the Stanford University Digital Economy Lab, a researcher at MIT Cryptoeconomics Lab, and a research fellow at Fintech at Cornell. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Ohio State University, and before joining WashU, I was a postdoc at MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy.
