I study the design of information mechanisms and the economics of technology. My latest research focuses on designing trust systems for digital platforms and analyzing the economic and policy implications of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Area at Washington University in St. Louis, a research affiliate at CESifo, a digital fellow at the Stanford University Digital Economy Lab, a researcher at MIT Cryptoeconomics Lab, and a research fellow at Fintech at Cornell. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Ohio State University, and before joining WashU, I was a postdoc at MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy.
